Dedicated accounting staff. Part of your practice.
Hire a dedicated full-time bookkeeper, accountant, audit professional or client manager for your Irish or UK practice. You choose the person and direct the work. Around People recruits, employs and supports them. See how the offshore staffing model works.
Book a callThe work is there. The local capacity is not.
Growth becomes a problem when partners and senior staff are pulled back into production, review queues lengthen and recruitment never catches up. Around People adds stable capacity at the point where the work is actually getting stuck.
Partners in production
Senior time is absorbed by work that should be completed before review.
Deadlines under pressure
Recurring work competes with year-end, audit and client demands.
Hiring stalls growth
New work is available, but the team cannot absorb another portfolio safely.
Clients need ownership
Delivery exists, but communication and accountability still sit with the partner.
Add capability at the level your firm needs.
Start with the work that needs an owner. We then match the experience, location and responsibility to the role.
Bookkeeping capacity
Bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT support and clean month-end inputs. Built to release senior people from recurring processing.

Your team member works inside your practice.
We built this way of working inside Around Finance, our own Irish accounting practice, before offering it through Around People. Read how we built the team.
You manage priorities, workflow, systems and technical review. In Colombo, an experienced local manager supports onboarding, attendance, workplace supervision, ongoing development and performance escalation. Around People manages the employment infrastructure around the person; your firm remains responsible for directing and reviewing the accounting work.

Technical assessment and interviews
Every candidate completes an assessment appropriate to the role and is interviewed twice before reaching you.
You meet the shortlist
You meet no more than three candidates, usually one, and choose who joins.
We support the seat
We handle employment, onboarding, equipment, HR and ongoing performance support.
Clear terms before you make a decision.
To confirm the fit
Use the first three months to decide whether the placement is right for your firm.
To replace a vacant seat
If the role becomes vacant, we replace the team member within 30 days. There is no monthly charge while the seat is empty.
Before you add capacity.
The practical questions accounting and audit firms ask before bringing someone into their systems.
Can the team member work in our existing systems?
Yes. They work inside the systems, workflows and permissions your firm sets, just like another member of your team.
How is client data handled?
The team member uses managed equipment and accesses your systems through the permissions you control. Confidentiality and data protection arrangements are put in place before access begins.
What audit work can they support?
Audit professionals can support fieldwork, testing, evidence gathering, audit files and working papers under your firm’s direction and technical review.
Who is responsible for technical review and quality?
Your firm retains control of technical standards, review and sign-off. Around People is responsible for recruitment, employment infrastructure and ongoing support.
What happens if our team member leaves?
These are long-term placements. We ask you to plan for your team member to stay for at least 12 months. This is an expectation of continuity, rather than a contractual minimum term; the refund and notice terms on our pricing page still apply. If someone leaves, your monthly fee stops and we aim to provide a replacement of comparable ability within 30 days.
